Business Analyst

Ceres Pharma is a fast-growing pharmaceutical company with a strong presence in Benelux, Italy and CEE, offering a wide range of OTC products and prescription drugs in women’s & family health. As part of our commitment to excellence and growth, we are enhancing our finance team and seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to focus on developing business intelligence solutions that will drive our business forward and drive data-driven decision making.

We are looking for a skilled and passionate BUSINESS ANALYST who will play a critical role in building, consolidating and improving  our business intelligence capabilities within the Ceres Pharma Group. The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in the development of our newly implemented data warehouse and BI tool. This role requires a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, agility and ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in multiple countries to gather and analyse business requirements for BI solutions

  • Develop, maintain and optimize BI infrastructure

  • Design, develop, and deploy insightful dashboards and reports to support strategic decision-making.

  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all BI systems in the various countries

  • Implement data governance and best practices for data management and own the corporate master data development

  • Conduct regular data quality checks and resolve any discrepancies

  • Analyze business performance metrics and provide actionable insights to stakeholders

  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in sales and gross margin

  • Support finance and other departments during the budgeting and forecasting cycle

  • Support data-driven analysis and make recommendations together with the controlling team

Qualifications:

  • Master degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Experience with BI tools, preferably Microsoft BI, and data visualization techniques

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive projects to completion. Agile and adaptable, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for continuous improvement

  • Fluent in Dutch and English; additional language skills are a plus
